|15 lbs||Prime fresh turkey|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf bacon|
|1/2 cup||butter, softened|
1. Clean and dry turkey with paper towels, and place in a roasting pan. Smear butter all over the skin and underneath the skin over the breasts. Place strips of bacon over the breast and another layer perpendicular on top the first layer and some over the legs if there is extra.
2. Bake covered with foil in a preheated 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 1 hour. Remove foil and reduce heat to 325 and roast for another hour and a half or until done at 180 degrees Fahrenheit; all the while, basting every 20 minutes.
