About this Recipe

These scones are too die for, so good, great texture and amazing flavor.
Great addition to any brunch.

Ingredients

1.75 cups All purpose flour
2.75 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Ground mustard
0.5 tsp Salt
0.25 tsp Pepper
6 tbsp Cold butter
2 Eggs
0.33 cup Milk
0.25 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
300 g 6 Strips of Maple Leaf Naturally Smoked Bacon

Directions

Cook Bacon, crumble and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the cheese and two-thirds of the bacon.
Transfer dough to a greased baking sheet. Pat into a 7-1/2-in. circle. Cut into eight wedges, but do not separate. Sprinkle with remaining bacon. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

You can add onion if you like. You can also make this ahead and warm up when you want to serve it.
