Everybody loves S'mores and everybody loves bacon, this recipe has both married together. A marriage made in foodie heaven! These have been made in my kitchen.
|3||Maple Leaf Bacon rashers|
|10||small squares of milk chocolate|
|12||wooden picks or skewers|
Soak the wooden picks in water for 15 minutes, this is so they do not burn in oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the Maple Leaf bacon rashers in half, so you now have 6 rashers. Slice the marshmallows in half, so you now have 6 pieces. Place a marshmallow on each rasher and roll up tight. Use a soaked wooden pick and poke through bacon and marshmallow to secure the bacon. Repeat so you have 6 rolled up. Place on a foil lined cookie sheet and place in oven, cook until bacon is cooked through and golden brown, approx 6-8 minutes. While those are in oven cooking, melt the chocolate in a double boiler on low. Brush melted chocolate on the bottom of 6 Graham Crackers with a pastry or basting brush. Take the cookie sheet out of oven when bacon is cooked through and carefully take picks out. Place one bacon wrapped marshmallow on top of each chocolate coated Graham Cracker, top each one with remaining Graham crackers, press down gently. Enjoy!
