About this Recipe

This impressive presentation will make mouths water. A super easy stuffing wrapped in bacon makes for the ultimate holiday side dish.

1 Pkg Schneiders Country Naturals Bacon
1 loaf white bread, cubed
1 cup butter
1 large onion, diced
1 tbsp dried sage
Salt and pepper
3/4 cup chicken stock

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Melt butter. Add in onion and cook over low heat until onions have softened and turned translucent, about 6 to 7 minutes. Stir in sage and cook for 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and allow to cool enough to handle. Place bread in a large bowl and pour onion mixture over top. Using your hands mix well to incorporate. Slowly pour in chicken stock until bread mixture is just moistened through. Season with salt and pepper. Lay bacon in strips lengthwise just slightly over lapper onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Lay stuffing mixture onto the base of the bacon leaving about a 3 inch border at the base. Shape stuffing into a log along the length of the bacon. Tightly roll up and bake seam side down for 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp and browned. Allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
