Bacon Mozza Stix with Bacon Ranch Dip

These bacon mozza stix are an amazing addition to the appetizer platter - and even better when dipped in bacon ranch dip. YUM!

Ingredients

1 Pkg Bacon
1 Pkg Mozzarella cheese (brick)
1 Egg
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 cup panko flakes (Japanese breadcrumbs)
1/2 cup Light Sour Cream
1 Pkg Ranch Dressing Mix
2 tbsp Crumbled Bacon

Directions

1. Cook bacon to desired consistency.
2. Mix breadcrumbs with Italian seasoning, spread on a cookie sheet, and broil (400 degrees) for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Pour into a bowl
3. Cut mozzarella (cold) into 1" x 2" rectangles.
4. Whisk egg
5. Cut bacon strips into 2-inch strips.
6. Slice mozza sticks along the length, - don't cut all the way through.
7. "Stuff" bacon into the mozza
8. Dip in egg wash
9. Dip in breadcrumbs and place on a greased cookie sheet.
10. Bake for about 5 minutes at 350. Serve with Bacon-Ranch Dip

Dip:
Mix sour cream, ranch dressing, and crumbled bacon (leftover from the bacon strips).
