Mac N Cheese - everyone's favorite! Super easy and fun to decorate with bacon! Strips of bits!
|6 tbsp||unsalted butter|
|150 g||coarsely shredded cheddar cheese extra sharp|
|200 g||coarsely shredded fontina cheese|
|6||bacon bits or strips|
|null||salt to taste|
Melt butter in a large pot. Add flour and paprika. Cook until bubbly (2 min).
Gradually add milk, stirring often until creamy and thick.
Add cheddar and fontina. Let melt, take off the heat.
Stir in macaroni and salt.
Return to low heat until hot and bubbly (2 min).
Love, love, love this dish! Especially when weather starts to get chili.
