Using Maple Leaf® Ready Crisp® Fully Cooked Bacon Slices make this meal so quick and easy to prepare.
|4||Dempster’s® Original Large Tortillas|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese|
|3||Green onions, sliced|
|1||Package Maple Leaf® Ready Crisp® Bacon Fully Cooked Bacon Slices, heated as per package instructions|
|2||Jalapeno peppers, sliced|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Melted butter|
ASSEMBLE quesadillas by sprinkling half the cheese on one half of each tortilla. Top with green onions, bacon, jalapenos and remaining cheese. Fold tortilla over to create a half moon. Brush outside of each quesadilla with melted butter.
HEAT a large skillet over medium-high. Cook 2 quesadillas at a time until cheese is melted and tortillas are golden on both sides, about 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
For less spicy quesadillas, remove the seeds and membrane from jalapenos.
Serve with guacamole, salsa and sour cream.
