Cake? Bacon? Delicious! These adorable cake pops are made better with bacon. So easy to prepare and fun to make. Great for parties and large gatherings.
|2||85gr packages Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon bits|
|1||515gr box prepared cake mix|
|1 cup||prepared frosting|
|32||oz white or dark bakers chocolate melted|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Prepare cake mix per package directions. Lightly spray a 13 x 9 pan. Bake cake per package directions. Allow to cool and crumble cake into a large bowl. Stir frosting into crumbled cake and using your hands combine until blended. Shape mixture into 50 balls. Place onto a parchment lined baking sheet and chill for 20 to 30 minutes. Melt bakers chocolate in microwave using a heat proof bowl. Stick the tips of lollipop sticks into the chilled pops. Dip each pop into melted chocolate and then into bacon bits. Insert onto stryrofoam block. Chill in refrigerator for an additional hour.
