Tea sandwiches are so easy and fun to make. The kids are in for a cool lunch treat!
|1/2 Pkg||Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon Strips|
|1/2 Pkg||Maple Leaf Natural Selections Oven-Roasted Chicken Breast|
|2 tsp||shredded mozzarella cheese|
|3||slices white bread|
|1||piece iceberg lettuce|
|1||piece red lettuce|
Arrange bread on clean surface. Trim the crust. Pop the bacon in microwave oven for 7 seconds. Break into small pieces. Combine bacon, chicken breast, cucumber slices, cheese, mayonnaise, and stir gently. Spread ingredients over 2 slices of bread. Place the second layered over the first layered bread, ingredient side up. Cover with the third slice, ingredient side down.
Pin the sandwiches together with 4 toothpicks in a diamond like pattern all the way down to the bread slice. Cut each sandwich diagonally into 4 triangular pieces. Arrange on plate. For the salad: Break lettuce into small pieces. Slice tomato in half. Arrange salad on side plate. Sprinkle salad with pepper. Enjoy!
