Switch up your lunch routine and try something new! This deliciously simple Bacon, Cheddar and Tomato Ciabatta will be sure to please.
|12||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon|
|4||Ciabatta buns, halved|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Butter, melted|
|Salt and pepper|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).
PLACE bacon on a parchment lined baking tray, cook in preheated oven until crisp, about 10 minutes, set aside.
PREHEAT broiler to high. Brush cut side of buns with butter. Place 2 cheese slices on bottom half of each bun. Place on a baking tray and cook under broiler until cheese has melted, about 3 minutes.
TOP with cooked bacon, tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cover with tops of buns and serve immediately.
