Everything’s better with bacon. Especially melted old cheddar cheese and tart green apples in this perfect grilled cheese Panini.
|8||Slices Villaggio® Italian Style Panini Bread|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese|
|1||Green apple, thinly sliced|
|12||Slices Natural Selections® Bacon|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Soft butter|
PREHEAT panini grill to 375˚F (190˚C).
DIVIDE cheese between four slices of bread, top with sliced apple, bacon and remaining bread.
SPREAD butter over the outside of each sandwich.
GRILL sandwiches until cheese is melted and outside is golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
If you don’t have a panini grill, this sandwich can be made in a fry pan.
