Absolutely delicious!! So simple to make! Mouth watering tastiness!!!
|4||ML Prime skinless/boneless chkn breasts|
|1/2 lb||Maple Leaf or Schneiders sliced Bacon|
|1 tsp||Seasoning salt|
|1/2 cup||Prepared Mustard|
|1/4 cup||Corn syrup|
|1 tbsp||Dry onion flakes|
|1 tbsp||Olive Oil|
|1 cup||Crotini Mushrooms (or sliced fresh white mushrooms)|
|2 cups||Shredded Monteray Jack Cheese|
|2 tbsp||Chopped Fresh Parsley|
Rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt and refrigerate for 20 mins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place bacon in skillet and cook until crispy, but not overdone, remove and place aside.
In a medium bowl combine mustard, honey, corn syrup and mayonnaise and dried onion flakes.
Remove half of sauce and set aside in a bowl in fridge for later.
Heat oil in large skillet and place breasts and sauce in skillet on medium heat for 3-5 mins per side until browned. Remove from skillet and place in 9x13" casserole dish and cover each breast with sauce.
Then layer each breast with bacon and then mushrooms.
Sprinkle top with shredded cheese.
Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 -20 mins or until chicken is cooked through, cheese is melted and juices run clear.
Heat remaining refrigerated sauce and drizzle over chicken, garnish with parsley. Serve with a side of rice or fresh pasta of your choice.
