1 lbs Maple Leaf Prime® Ground Turkey
1 Pkg baby bok choy, blanched
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
1 tbsp (15 mL) garlic, minced
1 tbsp (15 mL) ginger, minced
1 small onion, diced
1 tbsp (15 mL) sambal or chili paste
1 small red pepper, diced
2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 mL) garlic hoisin sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL) Shaoxing vinegar
1 tbsp (15 mL) rice vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) sesame oil
1/4 cup (60 mL) cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) green onion, chopped
Red thai chili peppers


HEAT oil over medium high heat in a large skillet.

BREAKING apart with the back of a wooden spoon cook turkey until browned about 6 to 8 minutes.

ADD onions and pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer or until vegetables are starting to soften.

ADD garlic and ginger and cook 1 minutes longer.

ADD chili paste, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, vinegars and sesame oil.

STIR well to combine.

ADD in cilantro and green onion and allow to heat through about 1 minute.

SEASON with salt and pepper and garnish with thai chili.

SERVE with bok choy.


Try adding toasted sesame seeds!
