What’s better than ribs? Ribs wrapped in bacon basted with a sweet and sticky BBQ sauce!
|10 To 12 slices Schneiders® Country Naturals™ Bacon|
|1||rack Maple Leaf Prime Pork Ribs|
|2 cups||(500 mL) prepared honey garlic BBQ sauce|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) sriracha sauce or Asian chili paste|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) sesame seeds, toasted|
PREHEAT grill low to medium heat.
CAREFULLY remove membrane from ribs.
IN a large bowl mix together BBQ sauce and hot sauce.
COAT the ribs with half the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
PLACE ribs onto a large piece of tin foil.
FOLD up tin foil tightly around ribs.
PLACE foil wrapped ribs onto a baking tray and place onto grill of BBQ.
CLOSE lid and allow to slow cook for about two hours.
CHECK half way to ensure ribs are not charring, add a little water to foil pack if necessary and fold back up tightly.
RIBS are ready when they are fork tender.
REMOVE ribs from grill and allow to cool completely.
ONCE cooled cut ribs into single pieces.
WRAP each piece with bacon. Baste with remaining BBQ sauce.
INCREASE heat on grill to medium high and grill ribs for 5 to 6 minutes or until ribs are heated through and bacon is crisp.
TURN frequently to keep from burning.
SPRINKLE with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Serve with corn and potato salad
