Lots of Umami here! Colourful, tasty and oh so easy to make in 15min tops!
A nutritious and delicious meal for a large hungry family.
|1||red bell pepper, seeded, sliced thin|
|1||large onion, peeled and sliced thin|
|6||asparagus stalks, ends snapped and cut into bite size pieces|
|1/2||head of broccoli, cut into florets|
|1 cup||sliced assorted mushrooms|
|1 tbsp||of soy sauce|
|1 tbsp||black bean sauce|
|2 tsp||sesame oil|
|1 tbsp||sesame seeds|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime chicken breasts, diced into bite size pieces|
|3 tbsp||extra virgin olive oil|
|500 g||Angel Hair Pasta or Vermicelli Rice noodles|
Preheat a large skillet with oil. Add chicken and sauté for 5 min.
Remove to a platter.
Add onions, peppers, mushrooms and asparagus to the pan. Pour in soy sauce and black bean sauce. Stir to mix.
Saute on med. high for 5 min.
Meanwhile bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop in the pasta and broccoli. Cook for 5 min. Drain.
Add the chicken back to the vegetables. Cook for 3min.approx.
Add the medley to the drained pasta. Drizzle with sesame oil, toss to mix.
Sprinkle individual dishes with sesame seeds.
