Make your lunch special by adding apple, cheddar and Maple Leaf® Flakes of Chicken to your sandwich

Ingredients

1 (5.5 oz/156 g can) Maple Leaf® Flakes of Chicken (drained and flaked)
.5 cup (125 mL) diced apple
.5 cup (125 mL) shredded cheddar cheese
.25 cup (50 mL) finely chopped celery
.25 cup (50 mL) finely chopped walnuts
.25 cup (50 mL) mayonnaise
1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
freshly ground pepper, to taste
8 slices Dempster's® WholeGrainsTM 12 Grain Bread
lettuce

Directions

COMBINE chicken with all the ingredients, except bread and lettuce, in a bowl and toss to coat evenly.

PLACE lettuce on 4 bread slices.

TOP each with ¼ of chicken mixture and remaining bread slices
