The Apple Pie Bagels are the perfect addition to this sweet and savoury salad!

|1||head of romaine lettuce|
|2||Royal Gala Apples|
|1/2 cup||unsalted pecans|
|1/2 cup||crumbled goat cheese|
|1/4 cup||balsamic vinegar|
|1/4 cup||olive oil|
|1 tsp||whole grain mustard|
|2 tbsp||maple syrup|
Preheat oven to 350
Chop bagel into 1cmX1cm cubes. Lay in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 20minutes, turning once halfway through. Remove and let cool.
Meanwhile, whisk together balsamic, olive oil, mustard and maple syrup. Set aside.
Wash and chop the lettuce, removing any wilted pieces.
Wash, and core the apples. Slice into very thin slices, approx. 2mm to 3mm.
Divide lettuce onto four salad plates. Top with apple slices, then pecans, then goat cheese, and then the croutons.
Drizzle with maple balsamic dressing.
