A fun apple shaped sandwich, lots of protein and fresh fruit and veggies to keep those little minds sharp all day long.

Ingredients

2 slices Whole wheat bread
2 tsp tsp (10 mL) Honey mustard
2 slices Schneiders® Country Naturals® Uncured Baked Ham
1 slice, Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp tbsp (15 mL) Creamy salad dressing or veggie dip
2 celery sticks
6 Mini carrot sticks
6 Strips bell pepper
1 Schneiders® Country Naturals® Pepperette
1 Granola Bar
1 Individually wrapped cheese portion
1 cup Orange Juice
1 Orange wedge
2 slices Kiwi
2 green grapes
2 slices Banana
Wooden Skewers (for assembly)

Directions

SPREAD honey mustard on one slice of bread. Top with ham and cheese and the remaining slice of bread. Cut the crusts from the bread using an apple shaped cookie cutter. Wrap the sandwich in plastic and pack into a lunch box.

PLACE the salad dressing in a 4-5 oz container. Arrange celery, carrots and pepper strips upright in the container. Secure the lid or wrap with plastic wrap and place in the lunch box.

CUT pepperette into bite sized pieces and place in a muffin cup liner and pack in the lunch box along with granola bar, cheese portion and travel container of orange juice.

ARRANGE fruit on the skews and wrap in plastic wrap. Pack in the lunch box along with the other items.
