|1||(800 g) Schneiders® Deli Best® Smoked Black Forest Ham, cut into ¼” (5 mm) slices|
|1/2 cup||+ 2 tbsp (155 mL) Teriyaki sauce, divided|
|5||Pineapple rings, fresh or canned|
|5||Cheddar cheese slices, cut into quarters|
|5-6||Lettuce leaves, torn into quarters|
|20||Dempster’s® Mini Burger Buns, lightly toasted|
PREHEAT BBQ to high.
PLACE ham slices in a 9x13” (3.5 L) rectangular baking pan and cover with ½ cup (125 mL) teriyaki sauce. Toss to coat.
LIGHTLT spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange pineapple slices on the grill and brush with remaining teriyaki sauce. Cook for 1 minute per side or until grill marks appear. Remove from grill. Place ham slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until nicely char-grilled. Cut ham and pineapple into quarters.
ASSEMBLE sliders by placing a slice of cheese on the bottom of each bun, top with ham, pineapple and a small piece of lettuce. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
