Bacon and chicken are two of my families favourite foods. When you wrap a chicken breast in bacon and bake it or bbq it, it will always come out nice and most.
|1 lb||4 - boneless skinless chicken breast halves|
|1/4 tsp||seasoned salt|
|1/2 cup||cream cheese softened|
|1/2 cup||shredded marble cheese|
|1/2 tsp||2 cloves garlic minced|
|1/4 cup||green onion chopped fine|
|1/2 cup||canned crab well drained|
1. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and garlic, marble cheese, green onions and crab.
2. Flatten out the chicken breasts so they are thin but hold together well, sprinkle with seasoned salt.
3. Spread over one side of each chicken breast. Roll up and tuck ends in.
4.Wrap each with five bacon strips, two strips that wrap from long end to long end and three strip that wrap tightly around the roll of the chicken; secure with toothpicks and lay seamed side down on a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes, turn over up to 425 and bake 10 more minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Yield: 4 servings.
