This is the best Macaroni and cheese recipe I've ever tasted.


1 Pkg Cheese medium cheddar brick 500g
.25 cup butter
.5 cup milk
20 salted crackers
.75 Pkg macaroni noodle large package
.5 tsp salt


Set oven to 350 F. Bring a big pot of water to a boil. Add salt and a pat of butter. Mix in the macaroni noodles add boil until they are soft(about 10-12 minutes. While The macaroni is boiling. Shred a brick of cheddar cheese-medium strength. I do this by putting the cheese in the freezer for an hour, slicing it down the center and then shredding the cheese with the food processor(way easier)when noodles are ready, drain well and put them back in pot they were boiled in. Add butter and mix well. Add milk, mix well. Add cheese in 4 installments until all the cheese is mixed in. Grease a casserole dish with butter. Pour in macaroni mixture into it. Crunch up the crackers with your hand as you try and spread them evenly on top. Put on casserole dish cover. Cook covered in middle rack for 45 minutes. Remove lid and cook for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes(with lid off). Add salt to taste.
