One night as I was planning dinner one of my sons requested burgers while the other asked for chicken. I preferred the chicken and had the prime flattened chicken on hand & in mind for that evening, so I tried to keep everyone happy by giving the burger craver his own "on a bun" version of our dinner. This dinner was a huge hit and we have repeated this meal a few times since. We love Prime Chicken


1 Prime Wild Garlic
1 Onion diced (sweet or cooking onion)
cup Mushrooms (white) chopped
2 garlic cloves minced
1 bunch asparagus
1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Buns as needed


BBQ or broil chicken (using foil as needed to prevent burning) till done - I cook on low heat for approx 1 hr, turning frequently.
pan fry onions, mushrooms, garlic and asparagus on side burner, drizzling with maple syrup periodically while cooking.
Remove from grill and burner - cut chicken in pieces using boneless breast meat for "on the bun" and bone in for "on the plate"
top with mushroom/onion/garlic mix and enjoy


Great for lunch or dinner, served with salad and/or other vegetables.
